Environmental rules

Belgium adheres strictly to EU aviation environmental standards, including noise limits, carbon reporting, and potential landing surcharges for older aircraft.

Travelling with pets

Pets are welcome with EU Pet Passport, microchip, rabies vaccination, and vet certificate. Belgium has many pet friendly hotels and parks, especially in Bruges and Ghent.

Entry and visas

Visa-free access for up to 90 days for US, UK, and EU citizens. Schengen rules apply.

Arrival and departure

Valid passport required. Schengen visa needed for some nationalities. Customs checks are quick; EU integration makes mobility easy.
