  • Before you fly

Environmental rules

– Norway leads in green aviation policy – Strong incentives for SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel) use – Noise reduction and carbon offsetting encouraged – Overflight restrictions in fjords and national parks during high season.

Travelling with pets

– EU rules apply: microchip, rabies vaccine, and pet passport or health certificate – Dogs require tapeworm treatment before arrival – Entry through approved airports with vet clearance (Oslo and Bergen are recommended) – Pet friendly luxury cabins and nature hotels available, especially in Lofoten and the fjord region.

Entry and visas

Schengen country. Visa free for up to 90 days for travelers from US, UK, EU, Canada, Australia, and most LATAM countries. Passport must be valid at least 3 months beyond stay.

Arrival and departure

– Valid passport + Schengen visa if applicable – Declaration required for valuables and cash over €10,000 – Private jets must submit flight plans and handling confirmation at least 24 hours in advance.

  • Airports and aircraft
Norway is very jet friendly, especially for travelers heading to remote, natural locations: – Ultra Long Range Jets (e.g. Global 7500, Falcon 10X) for US–Norway or Asia–Norway flights – Mid size Jets (e.g. Challenger 350, Phenom 300) for regional access VIP airports include: Oslo Gardermoen (ENGM), Bergen (ENBR), Tromsø (ENTC), Ålesund (ENAL). FBOs offer customs on site and crew facilities. Where available, we can request VIP transfers and helicopter access to lodges or resorts.
