Environmental rules

EU-level noise and emissions rules apply. Overflight restrictions in heritage sites and national parks. Encouraged use of SAF and carbon offset programs at major airports.

Travelling with pets

Microchip, rabies vaccine, and EU pet passport or health certificate required. No quarantine for pets with proper documentation. Entry allowed through major airports (Prague preferred). Many boutique hotels in Prague and spa towns are pet-friendly on request.

Entry and visas

Schengen member. Visa free for up to 90 days for travelers from US, UK, EU, Canada, Australia, and most LATAM. Passport must be valid 3 months beyond intended stay.

Arrival and departure

Valid passport + Schengen visa if required. Advance flight plan submission for private aircraft. Customs checks for valuables or large cash amounts over €10,000. Smooth private handling via dedicated terminals in Prague.

Approx. 9–11 hours, usually via 1 stop in a major European hub (Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Paris).
  • From Europe
Approx. 1–2.5 hours from most capitals (Berlin, Vienna, Paris, London).
  • Airports and aircraft
The country is jet friendly and strategically located, ideal for both business and leisure: Ultra Long Range Jets (e.g. Falcon 8X, Global 7500) land in Prague and Brno for global access. Light & Mid size Jets (e.g. Citation XLS+, Phenom 300) for regional EU flights. Main VIP airports: Prague Václav Havel (LKPR), Brno–Tuřany (LKTB), Karlovy Vary (LKKV, all with FBOs. Where available, we can request private lounges, ground handling and fast track customs.
