  • Before you fly

Environmental rules

– Morocco is implementing green aviation strategies, especially for new airport expansions – Noise and emissions control active near urban airports – Special permits may be required for overflight of nature reserves and desert zones.

Travelling with pets

– Pets must have microchip, rabies vaccination, and health certificate issued within 72 hours. – No quarantine for compliant pets – Entry allowed through main international airports with prior notice – Some luxury riads and desert lodges are pet-friendly, but it’s best to confirm in advance.

Entry and visas

Visa free for up to 90 days for citizens of the US, UK, EU, Canada, Australia, and many Latin American countries. Passport must be valid at least 6 months from date of entry.

Arrival and departure

– Valid passport + onward ticket – No visa required for most nationalities (for short stay) – Flight plans and slot requests must be submitted in advance for private jets – Customs inspections may occur for valuables, cash, or professional equipment.

Approx. 8–10 hours with one stop (NYC to Casablanca or Marrakech via Madrid or Paris).
  • From Europe
Approx. 2–4 hours from Paris, Madrid, Lisbon, London to most major cities.
