Environmental rules

UK encourages SAF use and carbon offsetting. Noise abatement + night restrictions in urban airports (especially London). Green FBO initiatives active at Farnborough and Luton.

Travelling with pets

Pet Travel Scheme (PETS) allows pets with microchip, rabies vaccine, and tapeworm treatment for dogs. No quarantine if compliant. Entry through DEFRA-approved airports (Luton, Farnborough, Heathrow, Manchester). Pet friendly hotels and countryside estates are widely available and very posh.

Entry and visas

Visa free for up to 6 months for citizens of the US, EU, Canada, Australia, LATAM (some need a visa). Passport must be valid for the entire stay. Electronic travel authorization (ETA) program coming soon for some nationalities.

Arrival and departure

Valid passport + visa (if required). Customs declaration for cash over £10,000 or luxury items. APD (Air Passenger Duty) may apply to private jet flights. Jet slots and clearances required for London-area airports.
