  • Before you fly

Environmental rules

Spain enforces EU noise restrictions and SAF initiatives at major hubs. Noise abatement procedures active at airports near beach or residential zones (Ibiza, Palma, Marbella). Overflight restrictions near UNESCO and protected areas apply.

Travelling with pets

EU pet rules apply: microchip, rabies vaccine, health certificate or EU passport. No quarantine for compliant pets. Most luxury hotels, villas, and even some beach clubs are pet-friendly (especially in Ibiza and Marbella). Entry via main international airports with vet check if needed.

Entry and visas

Spain is part of the Schengen Zone. Visa free for up to 90 days for travelers from the US, UK, EU, Canada, Australia, LATAM, and more. Passport must be valid 3 months beyond your stay.

Arrival and departure

Valid passport + Schengen visa if needed. Advance flight plan + slot reservation for private jets. Customs declaration required for high-value items or €10,000+ in cash. VIP handling recommended during high season and major events.

Spain is a major private jet hub, especially in summer and during events: Ultra Long Range Jets (e.g. Gulfstream G700, Global 7500) for transatlantic flights.
