  • Before you fly

Environmental rules

Turkey is implementing green aviation strategies, especially in tourist heavy regions like Bodrum and Antalya. Overflight restrictions near protected heritage zones (e.g. Göreme, ancient ruins). SAF adoption is limited but developing.

Travelling with pets

Import permit, health certificate, microchip, and rabies vaccine required. No quarantine for pets with correct documentation. Entry via international airports only (Istanbul, Bodrum, Antalya). Many luxury hotels, villas and gulets (private yachts) are pet-friendly on request.

Entry and visas

Visa free or eVisa for up to 90 days depending on nationality (US, UK, EU, Canada, LATAM included). Passport must be valid at least 6 months. eVisa can be obtained online in minutes for eligible countries.

Arrival and departure

Valid passport + eVisa or visa exemption. Declaration for cash or goods over 10,000 EUR. Private jets must file flight plans + obtain landing clearance. Smooth immigration process through dedicated terminals.

Approx. 10–12 hours from NYC or Miami to Istanbul (often 1 stop).
  • From Europe
Approx. 2–4 hours from Paris, London, Rome, Frankfurt.
  • Airports and aircraft
Turkey is private jet friendly, with growing demand across aircraft categories: Ultra Long Range Jets (e.g. Falcon 10X, Gulfstream G700) for US–Turkey routes. Light & Mid size Jets (e.g. Phenom 300, Citation XLS) for Europe, Middle East, and domestic transfers. Most have FBOs and customs clearance. Where available, we can request executive lounges and helicopter transfers to resorts or yachts.
