Pet Travel Conditions

Import permit, health certificate, microchip and valid rabies vaccination required. 30 day quarantine may apply depending on origin, but can be waived with proper documentation. Pet friendly hotels are increasing, especially in Chiang Mai, Phuket, and Bangkok.

Travel Restrictions

Visa free for 30 to 90 days depending on nationality (US, UK, EU, Canada, LATAM included). Passport must be valid at least 6 months. Visa extensions or eVisa available for longer stays or multiple entries.

Entry and Exit Requirements

Valid passport, no visa for short stay depending on country. Private jets must file flight plans and secure landing permits. Customs declaration required for valuables or cash over $20,000 USD. Arrival cards (TM.6) may be required for all passengers.

Approx. 11–13 hours, typically with 1 stop to Bangkok or Phuket.
